We are driven to be the best financial advisors in the world as measured by value delivered to the client  — not assets under management, sales/production volume, or any other metric.  To that end, we believe that the 4 cornerstones to becoming the best are the following:  High Touch, High Tech, Fiduciary Responsibility, and Transparency. Of course, other factors such as technical expertise & experience are critical, but we consider those to elements table stakes to delivering financial advice of the utmost quality.

High Touch

High Touch means much more than just “great customer service”, especially in our industry and our firm in particular.  It means understanding, listening to, and having empathy for your most sacred personal values, as well as your financial needs, desires & fears.  It’s about having a relationship built on regular contact that lasts a lifetime and then some with your next generation. It’s about pro-actively reaching out to you to allay fears and to check emotions during periods of market volatility to talk you off the proverbial cliff, as well as to connect with you on birthdays and holidays. 

High Tech

Automated, systematized, and process-oriented; In this day & age, would be unfathomable not to leverage the latest technology to the fullest and let the machines perform financial planning and investment management-related tasks that they excel at — not to mention faster and better than humans can in general.  Asset allocations, rebalancing, tax loss harvesting, etc. We not only believe in well-defined processes, but also systematizing them and automating them when appropriate without sacrificing personal touch so the quality of our client experience is always consistent.

Fiduciary Responsibility

As fee-based financial advisors, we always strive to act in the best interest of our clients.  Even long before we were bound to the fiduciary standard, we have always believed that acting solely in the best interest of our clients (as opposed to acting in our own interest along with those of our clients) is the right thing to do.

Transparency

We believe in transparency because we don’t decide what’s best for you.  We will certainly make recommendations based on your circumstances & preferences with your best interest in mind, but that does not necessarily mean you will always feel comfortable with our recommendation.  So by being absolutely transparency, we arm you with all the pertinent information you need. That includes all embedded charges & associated fees, distilled down to digestible, bite-sized chunks in language you understand, so that you can make an informed decision that feels right to you.
